Philadelphia Style’s “Best of Style” 2025 event reminded me why I love this city and the people who make it move. This year, I was invited as a VIP and partnered with the magazine and Ferrari of Philadelphia to debut a one-of-one Ferrari themed piece. Partnerships like this always excite me, because they take the art out of the traditional gallery setting and place it amidst, in this case, fast cars and beautiful people.

The Ferrari Lounge at the event's venue offered a setting that felt both exclusive and intimate, which suited the work. I designed the piece to honor Ferrari’s heritage, blending vintage Ferrari posters with my distinct style and vibrancy. My goal for this painting was to capture the feeling of anticipated speed - from the movement of throwing paint to the feeling of a fast car operating at it's full potential. That concentrated energy is where this painting gets its punch.

Throughout the night I spoke with guests who asked thoughtful questions about process, materials, and how the automotive language translates to art. We discussed my interest in vintage heritage and legacy brands, and how these aspects show up across my portfolio of work. It is easy to treat nights like this as a party and finish line, but I see them as part of a significant time to showcase my work to some of the most influential people in my city.

I am selective about partnerships because a single project can shape how the rest of the work is understood. This collaboration made sense because it aligned with values I care about: prestige, glamour, heritage, and my hometown all in one.

To everyone who stopped to look closely, asked for context, or shared a reaction, thank you. Your attention is appreciated and it helps me keep the bar high. I am back in the studio with a sharper brief for myself and a plan to carry this momentum into the next body of work. I will share more when the details are ready. For now, I am grateful for the opportunity and motivated to keep refining the language of the work, one piece at a time.
